Juxtaposition: For our in-class project, I used the irony in juxtaposition to create a toothbrush with nails instead of bristles to create an irony of clean and destruction. The pitcher of water represents an irony of wet and dry, turning water into sand.

Project 3. I walked around and found things that looked like other things! And I've always thought Ceelo Green looked like Slimer from Ghost Busters, so I had to post this. ;)

Shape Potential Exercise

Here is an exercise for the "Shape Potential" project. We were given 20 minutes to find potential in three simple shapes, a triangle, a square, and a circle. I started with the triangle, I saw the head of a squid and lost a good bit of time working in shading details. With no idea what to do for the square I moved on to the circle. I envisioned a ridiculous gage earring on a hipster type person, and I'm really satisfied with how it came out. With about 30 seconds left I started on the square, obviously I didn't manage my time very well...

Exquisite Corpse

Here is the first team creation in Conceptual Imagery! This monster is an out come of "Exquisite Corpse". In groups of three, my team mates each started with 10 minutes to draw a face, then body, then the legs. Without seeing each other's styles, we composed this crazy guy, and I'm pretty proud of the way he tuned out!
